To the Residents and Homeowners of Yardley Station Community,
We, the undersigned members of the Yardley Station Community, submit this petition with the shared goal of ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective governance for the betterment of our neighborhood. Over the years, it has become evident that the current Property Manager, BCPM, has failed to meet the expectations and obligations set forth in our community’s bylaws, particularly in the areas of financial oversight and overall governance. For the following reasons, we believe it is in the best interest of our community to replace BCPM with a more responsible and professional property management company, Associa, and to install a new board of directors with clearly defined term limits:
- Failure to Conduct Required Financial Audits
- Our community bylaws clearly state the requirement for regular financial audits to ensure transparency and proper management of community funds. Unfortunately, under the oversight of BCPM, these audits have not been conducted as mandated, leaving homeowners in the dark regarding the financial health and integrity of the community’s budget.
- Need for a Comprehensive Financial Audit
- It is critical that a full and independent financial audit be conducted immediately to review all financial activities over recent years. This audit will restore transparency, rebuild trust within the community, and ensure that no misuse or mismanagement of funds has occurred.
- Lack of Adherence to Bylaws
- BCPM has failed to adhere to other key provisions outlined in the bylaws, including regular communication with homeowners and the proper maintenance of community records. This lack of oversight and responsiveness has created frustration and concern among residents, further diminishing trust in the current management.
- Installation of a New Board with Term Limits
- In addition to replacing BCPM, we propose that a new board of directors be installed, comprised of members who are dedicated to the community’s well-being and who operate with transparency and fairness. To prevent stagnation, potential conflicts of interest, and the concentration of power, we recommend instituting a new rule that no board member shall serve more than three consecutive years. This term limit will foster fresh perspectives, new ideas, and ensure the board remains accountable to the community.
Proposal to Replace BCPM with Associa
Associa is a reputable property management company with a proven track record of providing professional services, maintaining clear communication with residents, and ensuring compliance with community bylaws. Their expertise and commitment to transparency make them the ideal choice to manage Yardley Station moving forward and at lower pricing than the current arrangement.
**Proposed New Board Members**
We propose the following individuals as candidates for the new board of directors. Their commitment to transparency, accountability, and community well-being makes them ideal choices to lead Yardley Station into the future.
Call to Action
We urge all Yardley Station residents to support this petition. By signing, you are advocating for a community that operates with integrity, transparency, and accountability. Together, we can replace BCPM with Associa, initiate a full financial audit, and install a new board that represents the best interests of all homeowners while limiting board member terms to no more than three consecutive years.
Let’s work together to restore trust in our community governance and ensure a brighter future for Yardley Station.
